Total breakdown at Walter Reed and at VA hospitals. Smoked out by the Washington Post. Vets being denied treatment for brain trauma. Phony patriotism which praises troops and doesn't allow treatment. Hides coffins from public prohibiting dead soldiers from being honored.

John McCain would not allow this (but it happened under his party's watch while he was a senator.)

15. Security

No Port Safety, Color coded alerts, Millions being distributed to low risk areas for political payoffs at the expense of heavily populated areas. Failure to address the US dependence on foreign oil making the US increasingly less secure. War in Iraq creating fertile recruiting platform for terrorists.

No bid contracts by the BILLIONS to Halliburton, Cheney's company for Iraq. Cost overruns, license to steal reported by whistleblowers. NO BID Katrina contracts to Halliburton. No bid contracts to build super prisons all around the country...to Halliburton.

More classification and obstruction for the public's right to know than all previous administration's COMBINED "Lost" 2 years worth of administration emails that detail Rove's use of the White House to run political operations - including the unprecedented firing of Federal Attorneys General for not carrying out Rove's political agenda against opposition politicians.

More "Presidential Signings" than all previous presidents combined (by hundreds!). Stating that the President does not have to abide by sections of the laws passed by congress simply because he says so. Instructions from Cheney to classify everything no matter what. Refusal to engage with stake holders in trouble spots around the world. Inability to get allies to support US. Appointments of individuals with right wing religious agenda in opposition to distribution of condoms for international population and aids control.

FAILURE

We spend the MOST MONEY of any country on Earth on health care and have declining longevity and more uninsured people than other industrialized nations. US citizens pay top dollar for prescription drugs that we can import back from abroad at a cheaper rate - except that that the government tries to stop us. Bush prevents Medicaid from negotiating for lowest prices.

We are the suckers who pay for all those ads that say: "Ask your doctor if FlimFlam is right for you.", while the multinational pharmaceutical companies sell the same prescriptions abroad at pennies on the dollar.

21. Energy Policy

FAILURE

Secret energy policy written by Cheney and the oil companies. Records kept classified. Result: Exxon Mobil profit of 40 billion dollars in 07 with more expected in '08. Denial of global warming despite thousands of scientists opposite conclusion, putting the US at risk by it's dependence of foreign oil. No serious initiative in conservation and alternate energy.
